An Era of Conscience

Activating Conscience to Resolve Crises

"A Prayer for Peace" for the World"

2022 International Conscience Month Special Report Series

A song titled “A Prayer for Peace” was recently published on the website of the movement of An Era of Conscience (ANEOC) to encourage global citizens to illuminate their inner lights, calm their hearts, and pray for the world.

Currently, the world is facing daunting challenges, such as the pandemic and the war. At the critical moment, it is necessary to awaken people’s conscience to resolve the conflicts with love, as well as achieve peaceful coexistence among people and between humans and nature. With heightened geopolitical tensions and continued environmental degradation, humanity’s continued existence is put to the test. A song titled “ A Prayer for Peace” (http://www.aneoc.org/featurevideo/mv/536/show ) was recently published on the website of the movement of An Era of Conscience (ANEOC). The song was written and composed by Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze, the initiator of ANEOC. Global citizens are encouraged to illuminate their inner lights, calm their hearts, and pray for the world, hoping that the pandemic and the war will end soon. Everyone is urged to work together to create a world of conscience where people live in peace and security as well as help and respect one another.

Humanity and the Earth community share a common destiny. People are urged to follow the guidance of their conscience, help and be kind to one another, and cherish the environment. On January 1, 2014, Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze, led the Federation of World Peace and Love (FOWPAL), Association of World Citizens (AWC), and Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy to jointly launch the movement of “An Era of Conscience” (http://www.aneoc.org  ) and promote a culture of conscience around the globe, which has received warm responses at the United Nations  . To date, people in 200 countries and territories have joined the movement. Over the years, Dr. Hong has been promoting the concept of "Promoting the culture of peace with love and conscience." Beginning in 2018, FOWPAL worked with various Permanent Missions to the United Nations, holding more than 10 meetings with UN ambassadors, which made possible the UN General Assembly’s adoption of a resolution titled “Promoting the Culture of Peace with Love and Conscience” in 2019, declaring April 5 as "International Day of Conscience."

Everyone is encouraged to spread love, practice conscience, and send their prayers and blessings around the world.

In support of the third International Day of Conscience on April 5, 2022, the organizers of An Era of Conscience (ANEOC) movement will launch a series of activities for the International Month of Conscience under the theme of "Conscience Is the Beacon of the Heart: Light Up Hope with Love,” inviting people from all walks of life to share their conscientious solutions to the crises of survival and environmental degradation, in the hope of activating global citizens’ conscience and creating good opportunities for positive changes. This will inject powerful energy of conscience into the world, fostering peace and sustainability. By lighting up hope with love, the organizers of ANEOC hope to guide the world to work together to reduce disasters and create cycles of kindness.

Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze pointed out, "Allow your awakened conscience to be with you at all times, guiding you to do good and stop evil. We need to take action and reflect on ourselves daily. Through self-reflection, we will find our motivation and turn that motivation into commitment. Then we can further use that commitment to inspire action. This way, we can improve ourselves, influence others, and contribute to society for the benefit of the world.” By hosting events honoring the International Day of Conscience, the organizers of ANEOC hope to awaken the conscience in global citizens and inspire them to unite together to save the world from the crises and move towards sustainable development.

At the critical moment, it is imperative to awaken people’s conscience and inspire them to use love to resolve conflict and live in peace with other living things.

Everyone's good intentions will become an opportunity to trigger the positive cycle of goodness in society. The organizers of ANEOC sincerely invite all global citizens to read and widely share "A Prayer for Peace" (http://www.aneoc.org/en/featurevideo/mv/536/show ) to put their love and conscience into action and to send their prayers and blessings around the world, hoping that everyone can find their pure conscience in the process of daily meditation and reflection.

For more information, please visit the website of ANEOC. Everyone is encouraged to say good words, do good deeds, and spread positive energy together (http://www.aneoc.org/zh/featurevideo/program/534/show ). Everyone is also invited to endorse the "Declaration for the Movement of An Era of Conscience" and "Declaration of International Day of Conscience" ( http://www.aneoc.org/en/endorse-2in1 ). By giving play to the butterfly effect of goodness and upholding conscience, the future of this world will be better.
