An Era of Conscience

The world gathers energy and prays for peace, with 200 countries joining the six major declarations

2022/09/12

The "Peace Declaration" was jointly proclaimed at the 2001 World Citizenship Assembly (WCA) in the presence of over 600 delegates from 67 countries.

[Taipei Report/Reporter Sun Yan] The world is in turmoil in 2022, with frequent natural and man-made disasters and epidemics such as COVID-19 and monkeypox threatening human health. The Russian-Ukrainian war has had an impact on the entire world, and extreme weather events have continued to occur. Heat waves, heavy rains, floods, and wildfires have all struck at the same time. The disaster film "The Day After Tomorrow," which warns of global warming, appears to have been staged in real life. "Change" is both an idea and a driving force. It is critical to save the planet. In August of this year, two significant co-signing activities, "Declaration for the Movement of An Era of Conscience and Declaration of International Day of Conscience" and "Declarations for Human Rights of World Citizens and Peace," reached 200 countries worldwide. The signing of people from different regions is intended to generate positive energy for human development. Every good thought is crucial. Please sign and share immediately for yourself and the world, gather everyone's strength, and work together to create a peaceful world with human rights and freedom.

Dominican President Fernandez and Dr. Hong Tao-Tze jointly turned the "Key to the World" and became the first head of state to sign the "Declaration of International Love and Peace Day".

Six important declarations are contained in the two important co-signing activities, which are actually a global relay of blessings across the century. Three organizations are working together to promote them: Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy, United Nations NGO Association of World Citizens, and Federation of World Peace and Love. The first declaration, "Love of the World A Declaration of Peace," was issued in 1999, and it explicitly stated the importance of spiritual power. "We believe that only a sincere heart can touch the depths of one's soul with similar aspiration and echo." It is a wise prophecy that awakens humans to their responsibilities as members of the community of life on Earth.People were terrified after three major earthquakes struck Colombia, Turkey, and Taiwan in 1999, signaling the beginning of nature's counterattack. As a result, on September 25, 1999, the Zhang-men-ren of Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy, Dr. Hong Tao-Tze, launched the event "World Love, the Night for Blessing." Together, nearly 40,000 religious leaders and citizens gathered to pray for the world. Dr. Hong issued the "Love of the World A Declaration of Peace" on that day, calling for love and kindness to all living beings on the planet, launching an endorsement movement, and even engraving the declaration on the top of the "Bell of World Peace and Love."

During the 2016 UN DPI/NGO Conference, young volunteers explained the Declaration for the Movement of an Era of Conscience to then-UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.

In the 21st century, humans should remember the painful lessons of the two World Wars. With the rapid advancement of science and technology, good and evil thoughts have become crucial in influencing the fate of the Earth. The "Declaration of Peace" is the conference resolution of the 2001 United Nations NGO World Citizenship Assembly(WCA 2001), which was jointly announced in the presence of over 600 representatives from 67 countries, calling for the establishment of a new culture of peace in the 21stcentury. The 2002 "Declaration of Human Rights for World Citizens" emphasizes that peace comes from harmony between man and nature, and human rights come from mutual respect between men.Cultural exchanges are used to combine the power of human "heart and soul," with "love" as the driving force, so that citizens of the world can share freedom, human rights can be guaranteed, and peace can be practiced. The 2005 "Declaration of International Love and Peace Day" echoes the reform agenda of the United Nations' 60th anniversary (A Time for Renewal). Dr. Hong Tao-Tze, president of the Federation of World Peace and Love, declared September 15 to be the "International Day of Love and Peace" and issued the "Declaration of International Love and Peace Day."He and Dominican President Leonel Fernandez Reyna turned the "Key to the World," symbolizing the heads of state's initiation of love and peace, because the key men's good thought will cause the world to turn in a positive direction. President Fernandez was the first head of stateto sign the "Declaration of International Love and Peace Day". On the same day, President Fernandez rang the World Peace and Love Bell and made the following wish: "I hope people all over the world respect each other, and love and peace can last forever." In 2008,Colombia, Ecuador, and Venezuela were on the verge of war. Fortunately, President Fernandez coordinated in the center, wisely resolving the conflict and averting war.President Fernandez has received international acclaim for his actions following the ringing of the Bell to grant his wish.

International volunteers of an Era of Conscience promoted the movement of an Era of Conscience in Vienna.

As the global environment deteriorates faster than human imagination, and wars and conflicts continue, people must recognize that the current crisis is serious, and they must use their conscience and wisdom to unite and collaborate with global citizens to jointly solve the problems of sustainable development. Dr. Hong Tao-Tze launched the "Movement of An Era of Conscience" on January 1, 2014, stating that everyone is a conscience leader to transcend ethnic groups, beliefs, species, and countries, to guard the conscience in your heart and mine, and to create an era of love and peace. The global launch ceremony of the "Movement of An Era of Conscience" was held on February 16 in 25 locations around the world, which was congratulated by the heads of state and government of more than 40 countries, as well as ambassadors and United Nations representatives The global signing ceremony of the "Declaration for the Movement of An Era of Conscience" took place in San Jose, USA, on August 17, 2014. It sparked a wave of conscience in the United Nations and quickly spread to five continents via volunteers. Tai Ji Men shifu and dizi also traveled to several countries to promote this endorsement activity, including the Pacific Islands threatened by climate change. They also rushed to the following seven countries: Marshall, Kiribati, Solomon, Nauru, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, and Fiji, urging the international community to address the serious issue of global warming.

The International Conference of Chief Justices of the World in India also responded to the "International Day of Conscience".

The key to solving the world's problems is "conscience." The "Movement of an Era of Conscience" is still being promoted around the world and has been recognized by major international conferences. The 15th "International Conference of Chief Justices of the World" was held in Lucknow, India, in 2014, and 114 representatives from 36 countries, including five former presidents, ministers of state, speakers, deputy ministers of justice, 36 judges, and justices, enthusiastically supported this Movement, which the justices praised as "the force that makes the people happy." The 66th United Nations DPI/NGO Conference was held in Gyeongju, South Korea, in 2016. The conference focused on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and announced 17 SDGs (SDGs).At the conference, volunteers promoted the "Declaration for the Movement of An Era of Conscience" and the "Declaration of World Citizens," and explained the significance of the declarations to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. During the conference, BircanÜnver, founder of The Light Millennium, presented Dr. Hong Tao-Tze with the "World Citizenship and Peace Culture Education Award" in recognition of his contributions to promoting world love and peace culture, as well as world citizenship education. Dr. Rene Wadlow, President of the United Nations NGO Association of World Citizens, presented Dr. Hong with the "Global Citizenship Sustainable Development Award," stating that he and the "Love of the World Cultural Goodwill Group" he leads have contributed to the global promotion of love and peace.

In 2019, the United Nations General Assembly declared April 5 to be the "International Day of Conscience," with the goal of awakening people to behave according to their conscience, holding love and conscience educational activities, ending wars globally, and conducting peace talks, so that people's consciences can be awoken and the world can be at peace. In 2018, the "International Day of Conscience" was established. Dr. Hong Tao-Tze convened a meeting at the United Nations Headquarters in New York with Tai Ji Men dizi, members of the Federation of World Peace and Love, the United Nations NGO Association of World Citizens, and Kiribati. They are adamant that conscience is the key to sustainable development and that, in order to transform our world, we must form a global partnership for sustainable development. They also continue to co-organize conferences with the embassies of Bahrain, Equatorial Guinea, and other countries in order to jointly develop the resolution, "Using Love and Conscience to Promote Peace Culture," which Bahrain formally proposed to the UN. The "Declaration of International Day of Conscience" was launched at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on February 5, 2019.

Dr. Hong Tao-Tze continues to advocate a peaceful culture of love and conscience in this era of frequent natural and man-made disasters, not only to influence leaders of various countries, but also to create a butterfly effect of kindness around the world! More than 3.73 million people in 200 countries have signed the "Declarations for Human Rights of World Citizens and Peace" to date. The "Declaration for the Movement of An Era of Conscience and Declaration of International Day of Conscience"has been signed by more than 330,000 people from 200 countries. It is not only the job of a superhero to save the world. Your good conscience can also lead to the creation of love and peace! Please sign up as soon as possible and share your kind hearts and thoughts for the benefit of the entire world. We hopeone day to arrive at the peaceful realm:with conscience, a peaceful world follows; with happiness, joyful families arrive!
